Activated carbon binds unwanted substances such as drug residues, pesticides, chlorine, heavy metals and surfactants. 2nd stage zeolite pebbles Zeolite is a microporous rock that has the ability to adsorb (i.e. it binds substances) - including free radicals, ammonia and dioxins.
