How is the tap operated?
The Corto works like a classic, manual tap:
Turn on - water flows continuously. Turn it off - the water stops immediately.
This makes it a very controlled, deliberate tap, perfect for bottles, carafes or precise dosing.
How is it cleaned?
The following applies to regular care:
Internal cleaning:
Pour a mixture of citric acid and water into the lower tank and allow it to run completely through the tap. This dissolves limescale and deposits on the inside.
If there are stubborn residues, you can carefully clean the inside with a small brush.
Cleaning the outside:
Simply wipe the tap with a damp cloth. Stainless steel should not be treated with harsh abrasive cleaners to protect the surface.
