5-step cartridge Origin

Product information "5-step cartridge Origin"

Origin 5-Step cartridge - for fresh-tasting, balanced drinking water

Proven filtration for the YVE-BIO Classic series

The Origin 5-Step cartridge is a central component of the Classic series and ensures that your drinking water tastes pleasantly clear and is reliably purified.
Each layer fulfils its own function - similar to how water in nature gradually passes through different layers of soil and rock before it emerges as spring water.

Important:
The 5-Step cartridge always works together with a ceramic filter.
The ceramic filter performs the first cleaning stage and retains particles, turbidity and bacteria.
The water then flows through the five layers of the Origin cartridge.

How does the 5-step cartridge work?

The water moves slowly and evenly through five natural materials that contribute to the water quality one after the other - completely without pressure, purely by gravity.

1. activated carbon - the thorough cleaning layer

A particularly pure, highly adsorbent activated carbon binds, among other things

  • chlorine
  • Various organic substances
  • Taste and odour impairments

Independent laboratory tests ensure quality.

2. zeolite - the natural mineral rock

Thanks to its microporous structure, zeolite acts like a finely branched network.
This layer supports

  • the binding of certain substances
  • gentle stabilisation of the pH value
  • the release of small quantities of natural minerals

3. bio balls - harmonising minerals

The ceramic balls release small amounts of calcium and magnesium - a contribution to a round, fresh flavour, as known from soft spring water.

4. tourmaline balls - gentle energetic support

Tourmaline is traditionally used to:

  • gently revitalise the water
  • release mineral traces
  • round off the flavour

Purely physical, without chemicals.

5. silicon minerals - the "stream" at the end

In the final layer, the water passes through silicon-containing minerals.
These give off slight traces of silicon - a mineral that occurs naturally in many springs.

This gives the water its clear, delicate flavour, which many people like.

When should the cartridge be changed?

  • After approx. 1500 litres,
  • after 4 months at the latest (recommendation according to DIN 1988)

Dimensions

  • Length: approx. 160 mm
