How is the tap operated?
The Corto works like a classic manual faucet:
Turn it on – water flows continuously.
Turn it off – the water stops immediately.
This allows for very controlled and conscious dispensing, perfect for bottles, carafes, or precise dosing.
How is it cleaned?
For regular care:
Interior cleaning
Add a mixture of citric acid and water to the lower tank and let it run completely through the faucet. This dissolves limescale and deposits inside.
For stubborn residues, you can carefully clean the interior with a small brush.
Exterior cleaning
Simply wipe the faucet with a damp cloth. Stainless steel should not be treated with harsh scouring agents in order to protect the surface.
