EM Premium 5 filter cartridge
Combination of water filtration and water revitalisation in one cartridge.
This EM filter cartridge combines filtering and revitalising water in one and is manufactured exclusively by Carbonit for Prime Inventions.
A special fired clay is used to produce the EM ceramics. This clay contains organic material from plants that are millions of years old and are food for the EM Effective Microorganisms® during the fermentation process that lasts several months. Among other things, EM ceramics reduce the surface tension of the water and the size of the cluster structures. This restores the natural condition of the water.
The EM ceramic is "baked" into the filter cartridge as a powder during production. This creates a very large contact surface with the water. Together with the proven filter performance of the Carbonit NFP Premium filter technology, this results in ideal water filtration.
Activated carbon has a large surface area, which is used as an adsorbent in the chemical industry, medicine and water and waste water treatment, among others. It primarily removes unwanted colour, taste and odour substances from gases, vapours and liquids.
The sintered activated carbon block filter on a coconut basis focuses on the chemical-physical removal of undesirable substances in drinking water, e.g. through the influences of domestic installations.
The filter cartridge must be replaced after 6 months (according to DIN 1988). In principle, 10,000 litres of water may be filtered within the 6 months. However, earlier replacement may be necessary if the water flow is noticeably reduced. Early replacement is not a defect in the filter used, but rather an indication of the increased occurrence of fine particles in unfiltered water.
Technical data EM PREMIUM 5:
Filter fineness: approx. 0.45 µm
Temperature: Use only with cold water, protect from frost
Flow rate: approx. 2 litres per minute
Pollutant retention EM Premium 5 see NFP Premium
The pollutant retention of the EM Premium D
is approx. 90% of the filter capacity of the EM Premium 5.
The Prime Inventions EM filter cartridges combine water filtration and revitalisation and are exclusively manufactured by Carbonit.
What is EM Ceramic?
For the production of EM ceramics a special fired clay is used, which contains organic material from plants that are millions of years old and are food for the EM Effective Microorganisms® during the fermentation process that lasts several months.
What can EM ceramics do?
Among other things, EM ceramics reduce the surface tension of water and shrink cluster structures. This restores the natural condition of the water.
EM ceramics in filter cartridges

EM Premium 5
CARBONIT Monoblock NFP Premium filter cartridges are included as standard in the drinking water units, now the EM Premium 5 is also suitable for
SANUNO - Classic-VARIO - DUO
Due to the standardised dimensions of the filter cartridge, it can be used in many commercially available standard housings. A summary of the most important expert opinions and much more information can be found at www.carbonit.com
*) The GFT/University of Bielefeld has also carried out tests for the following pathogenic germs. The retention rate for all germs was > 99.9%: Bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococus haemolyticus, Enterobacter cloacae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Bacillus subtilis) Microorganisms (Entamoeba coli, Giardia Lamblia, Cryptosporodium parvum, Hymenolepis nana, Schistosoma mansoni, Ascaris suum)
fungi/yeasts (Candida albicans, Rhodotorula mucilaginosa, Saccharomyces cerevisae)
Furthermore, the TÜV Rheinland/ Berlin-Brandenburg confirmed that the results of the expert opinions are reliable and sufficiently transferable to the real use of the cartridge.
