The brine extracted from our natural rock salt is the basis for this valuable natural product. This natural salt speciality can be seen as a counterpart to the Fleur de Sel from France - without having to accept the pollution of the seas. Our natural brine comes from deep inside the mountain, without any environmental influences.
Natural salt flakes are a universally applicable salt that can be used in the kitchen a lot. Since it is free of chemical additives (and thus also those to improve the pourability) and also contains some residual moisture, it would not be in the right place in the salt shaker. It is best to keep it in a pot with a sufficiently large opening, from which you can then use your fingers or our wooden shovel.
Due to its natural state, the natural salt flakes are ideally suited for the preparation of ecological products that are manufactured in accordance with Regulation (EC) 834/2007.
